Artist Proofs - These exclusive artworks are typically the very first prints ever produced and reserved for family or specific collectors. There are only 2 Artist Proofs in each edition.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
When you collect an artwork by Beau Simmons, you will also receive a custom Certificate of Authenticity. Each certificate is unique to your artwork and provides you with the artwork title, date, edition, and size.
Beau is one of the only photographers who will hand-sign each collector's name to the back of each certificate as a special thank you. This is designed to provide the artwork’s provenance and to ensure collectors that each artwork will never be reproduced once they have sold out.
PRINTING PROCESS
Candela Fine Art - San Francisco, California
All of Beau’s artworks are produced by Candela Fine Art in San Francisco, California. Candela is a highly regarded printer of archival pigment prints. They work with the leading galleries in America and some of the most recognized contemporary artists and photographers.
Their proprietary printing process employs technology that transcends generic digital prints by allowing for bespoke allocations of the 12 ink cartridges within the Canon drum printer. All prints are on 315gsm Hahnemühle photo rag Baryta paper and varnished after processing to give both endurance and sheen.
Pre-printing, the film negatives are drum scanned to ensure the finest quality and highest resolution. We use the Heidelberg Tango for all of Beau's fine artwork scans. Each drum scan is performed professionally to retain each film negative's delicate highlights, deep shadow details, smooth gradients, and excellent grain rendition. The results are scans that are clean and sharp, without feeling like the scans have been sharpened with a filter like most digital photographs. These scans are the absolute best for fine art archival prints.
MOUNTING & FRAMING
Beau’s prints are all mounted and framed in a quality that compliments the artwork. Mounts are hand-made and finished with a 1.5-2 inch contemporary black frame including a fabric liner. All prints framed worldwide are consistent with this style.
* We endeavor to frame locally where possible and have a number of trusted framers in the US. Prints can be purchased unframed upon request.
